Terms & Conditions for Off-Site Metal Collection
Everitts Metal Recycling offers off-site collection services for unwanted metal. By requesting this service, customers agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Access and Safety
The customer must ensure the site is safe and accessible for our team and vehicle(s).
Collection areas must be free from hazards such as sharp objects, unsecured animals, unstable ground, or overhead obstructions (including low tree branches or powerlines).
Driveways, gates, and entry points must be wide and clear enough for access. If access is limited or requires special arrangements, this must be communicated in advance.
2. Photos and Site Information
Clear, recent photos of the metal to be collected and the surrounding site must be supplied before a pickup is confirmed.
These photos help us assess volume, material type, and access requirements, ensuring we send the appropriate vehicle and team.
3. Responsibility for Property
While all care will be taken during collection, Everitts Metal Recycling will not be held responsible for any damage to driveways, lawns, fences, or property caused during reasonable access or collection activities.
If the collection area is difficult to access or has potential for damage, this should be disclosed in advance so alternative arrangements can be considered.
4. Volume of Material
If the volume of unwanted metal is minimal, we may suggest combining pickups with neighbours or others in your area.
Group collections help reduce travel time, fuel use, and costs, making the service more efficient and environmentally friendly.
5. Right to Decline Collection
Everitts Metal Recycling reserves the right to decline a pickup if:
The site is deemed unsafe or inaccessible.
The photos supplied do not accurately represent the situation.
The quantity or type of material is not suitable for collection.
6. Ownership of Materials
By arranging a collection, the customer confirms they have the right to dispose of the materials and that they are not stolen, hazardous, or restricted under law.
